Lake Sumter Landing

Construction of the second Villages downtown development is comprised of nine anchor buildings surrounding the central Town Square with retail shops radiating out from the central downtown core. The original buildings consisted of 165,000 SF for $25,429,783 in 2005. By the completion of construction, outside of the main buildings, REX Construction built a 20,919 SF Healthcare Center, a 20,700 SF Golf Cart Sales and Repair Shop, a 70,847 SF four-story hotel as well as 20 other buildings comprising a downtown-wide 300,000 SF.
